Anchor Point is more than a state-of-the-art venue in the heart of Birmingham, hosting hundreds of events each year. It is a place of purpose, hope, and transformation. As a social enterprise of Betel UK, a Christian charity, Anchor Point exists to help men and women rebuild their lives after homelessness and drugs or alcohol addiction. Anchor Point is home to Betel UK’s headquarters and several of its social enterprises, including Rising Café restaurant and catering, On Point Salon, Anchor Point Events, and Infinite Arts. Behind every coffee served, every performance staged, and every event hosted are people whose lives have been changed. Many of the men and women leading and serving in these spaces have overcome addiction themselves and are now training, supporting, and inspiring others on their journey to recovery.
When you book an event at Anchor Point, share a meal at Rising Café, treat yourself at On Point Salon, or experience a production by Infinite Arts, you are doing far more than enjoying a service — you are investing in the restoration of lives. Every pound spent goes directly to Betel UK, supporting our work and providing free housing, training, and community for those rebuilding their lives from the ground up. We receive no government funding; our social enterprises make this life-changing work possible, covering up to 85% of our operational costs.
